How long have you been singing and when did you realize your passion for singing? I’ve been singing publicly since middle school, but I fell in love with music at about the age of 3 and discovered I had a good singing voice at about 6 years old because I had an ear for music and I knew how to mimic.

I’m a mom of two teenage boys and I’ve been an educator for 17 years. Although I’ve been singing since I was a small child, as strange as it sounds, nobody in my family knew. I grew up an only child and I would just sing in my room and occasionally at school around close friends. It wasn’t until I was convinced by a friend to enter a middle school talent show that my mom and grandmother found out I could sing. They’re approval and confirmation that I really could sing gave me the confidence to pursue it further and it’s been my passion ever since.
